Love this ride! I always go on this ride while in Great America. The drop is not extremely scary, but it's fun to just shout things on the way down! The best part is the view from the top of the tower. I definitely recommend for a thrilling and amazing ride!
Rides need to be sanitized more often

Fun ride, your heartbeat definitely rises! The lines have been quite short lately. Once you get to the top, it takes a few seconds to get dropped - enjoy the view! The fall is something between 2-3 seconds
If you like thrill rides, this is for you! Yes the wait can be long and yes it's a short ride but I highly recommend.
The wait for this ride was completely out of control... And the problem is they are only using half the ride.... So basically 15 seats are available.. Over an hour later and you are getting close you can see the real problem.. The Fast pass people are using almost 90 percent of the seats... Do yourself and your family a favor.. Factor in the extra 65 dollars a person for the Fast Pass or stay home.. The time you are going to spend standing in line is going to be 2/3rds of your day!!! No Thanks...
The drop tower is a very intense ride, it rates as a 4 out of 5 on the intensity scale used in the park. However in comparison to other 4 rides I consider this an upper 4 or lower 5. Compared to many other rides the lines are usually short and you can get in and out quickly. It also has a very nice view of the park when you get all the way to the top.
The only reason I'm giving three stars is because I hate going on this ride but my boyfriend loves it so he makes me go on with him. I love the view when you get to the top but I hate the drop. If you dont mind the drop then I recommend riding around sunset
